My Response to Ny's newest legislation on abortion!

Why NO Christian can be pro-choice..

Let me be clear.. If your spirit isn’t on fire at the very thought of abortion.. Then I doubt you’re saved!

Here’s why!

Psalms Chapter 106

 

26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:

35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

 THIS ALONE.. Should show GOD’S opinion of Sacrificing their children!!

But.. here is another set of verses that clearly show’s God hates this practice..

Proverbs Chapter 6

 

¹⁶ These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him:

¹⁷ A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

¹⁸ An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

¹⁹ A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

And lets make clear that the verses here say hands that shed innocent blood.. Who could be more innocent than an unborn baby!

Ecclesiastes 11:5 - As thou knowest not what [is] the way of the spirit, [nor] how the bones [do grow] in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.

Psalms 22:10 - I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou [art] my God from my mother's belly.


Exodus Chapter 21

²⁴ Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

²⁵ Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

Psalms 127:3-5

3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Here God tells Jeremiah that from the belly he was chosen to be a prophet..

I WONDER What some of these wonderful young children were supposed to be?? A scientist to cure cancer? A scientist to cure Diabetes? A mother who would raise a ardent supporter of  PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST? A Physicist who would find a fix for air pollution?? Oh but we will never know.. Not now anyhow!!

Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

And here it appears to be a prophesy of either John the Baptist… Or Paul the Greatest of all Apostles and it says they were chosen from the womb!!

Isaiah
Chapter 49

1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.

5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Finally there are those who say what could a disabled person do that God would desire they live..

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.<= they are perfectly able to praise God in their hearts!

And last but not least.. THE FIRST PERSON TO ACCNOWLEDGE JESUS CHRIST.. WAS ANOTHER BABE IN THE WOMB And it says he was filled with the Holy Ghost Not a light thing to kill a baby if they can be filled with the Holy Ghost.. and can be called to do Gods will from the womb!!

Luke 1:41 - And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
