Proverbs 1:8
My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

I expect that my children treat my directions to them as the law of the land in their lives.
Example.. If I speed there is a fine to be payed. Hence if my children don't obey... they have more chores to do and less liberty to do as they wish!



Can you imagine the change in every American School, Home and Public building.. if each family simply imposed this.. ?



What no more squalling 4 year olds in Walmart because they didn't get their way?

Wouldn't it be nice to never again see a child blatantly disregarding the directions of their parents?

You know as well as I do.. This one simple change in the homes of American Parents would make the entire NATION run better! :)


Name me one mom or dad who wouldn't kill to never see or hear some of this kind of disrespectful attitude in their home?!

Then why don't we do something about it?
Truth to be told...

1) We have been sold a bill of goods.. (Your going to crush their individuality, They each need to be free to express themselves)

2) Our society is just to dog lazy! The parents don't want to put in the effort it takes to truly train a child to behave the way it should behave.!

3) Everyone is afraid that if they really discipline the child like they would have to do.. that DCFS OR CPS will show up at their door and the kid will be taken away!!

You know what..

I HAD A REVELATION..

If the child won't obey you..
If the child rebels at everything you say

I say maybe if the kid wants to go live someplace else... Then maybe we should let them..


Would we miss them.. ABSOLUTELY!
But if the kid knew you'd let them go... and not come begging them to come back until they were willing to live under your rules...

Either they would comply or they wouldn't.. but at least your house would have some PEACE!

Reasons to read your bible...

Today we are going to look at WHY should you read your bible..

I know, I know you think you know the answers to this... And maybe you do..

But I know I have always found reviewing my Motivations... Educational..

So here are my top 5 reasons to read your bible...

1) First thing it does is it elevates your thinking.

What does that mean?? 

Well instead of starting your day (Yes I believe starting your day with bible is very important..)
But if you open your mind first thing in the morning and you add into it GOD'S thoughts, God's ways, Gods directions for your life.. It makes you more mindful of your direction for the day..

2)Second thing reading your bible does is it gives you PEACE...  

Starting your day with God's mind and God's direction starts you off with peace. It gives you direction. It makes you have diving guidance.. 

How many times have you heard people saying.. 

"I just wish there was an instruction Manuel"

There is.. It is called The Bible!

3) When times are hard... And they so often are!!

God's word gives us a Refuge.. 

A place to run to .. A place to find solace.. and HOPE!

4) When you read your bible frequently.. It starts to change you... FOR THE BETTER...

Some would get all freaked out by this statement..

But it's true..

God's word when you read it gets into your heart and mind.. And it tells you it won't come back void.. 

It's full desire is to bring you into a closer relationship with the ALMIGHTY GOD. 

And in all honesty... WHO can't use some personal improvements?

Is there anyone who has such perfect character or such a sterling personality that they need no help??

5) God is God.. So often in our world we allow men to make and determine what is right and wrong.. 

Let God be right.. 

Scarcely does a day go by when we don't see the things of MAN...

I will be honest.. I think it really is a dying art.. Learning and Leaning On GOD!
